router USB port

I am trying to make a large robot with good wireless cameras I found this router at walmart Robot or human? I was originally going to use IP cams but realized this router has 2 USB ports. I was wondering if I could connect a webcam to the USB ports of the router and view it remotely with a laptop

I think it unlikely that the router would have a driver for a usb camera on board.

do you think I should use a ip cam? is there any way to use a webcam?

An IP cam should work. "webcam" is a vague generic term that lacks specific capabilitys.

I found this router at walmart

A brand name and model number would be far more useful than a picture. A link to the datasheet would have even more value.

Following the posted link, it would appear to be an Asus RT-N16.

yes it is the Asus one, does any one have a USB port on there router or have experience with USB on routers so they can tell me if a webcam would connect to USB of the router

What is supported on USB will depend on the router. You have the manual for your router. It will tell you what you can connect. It would appear to only support Mass Storage devices and Printers. You can flash that router with DD-WRT (Asus RT-N16 - DD-WRT Wiki), but I don't think that supports USB web-cams either.
