Ah ha, this is hOw I had it set up before. This gives a constant power supply to the anode, and then uses the Arduino to turn "off" the LEDs
This is fine for the columns. The bit where in stuck is giving control to the anodes as such.
I have more uln2803 but these are sinking ones so not right.
I have a selection of pnp and npn transistors that I think are right for the job, but just can't seem to be getting any joy out of ![]()
