RS-232 to Midi Interface
This unit will be designed to receive data from an RS-232 terminated control surface (JL Cooper ES8/100) into Arduino and output HUI protocol data to a PC. In addition, the data being sent from the PC will return to the control surface, as it is automated and will respond to functions of the PC. The Arduino preferred is the MEGA2560 and the 8u2 or 16u2 IC will be boot loaded with Hiduino firmware, to allow MIDI connectivity to specific audio recording programs.
All information and data regarding HUI, Hiduino and control surface data output is available online and can be provided for you.
This will be designed into a specific interface for these controllers for personal use only. Salary can be discussed if the candidate is willing to work on this project.
