RS422 communication with Arduino

Hi,

I have bought a RS422 shield compatible with Arduino UNO (RS485 RS422 Shield for Arduino from Conceptinetics on Tindie). I was wondering whether I should obtain a USB to RS422 converter to achieve a full duplex communication between PC>>RS422>>Arduino.
