just a simple question: a rs485 to ttl converter with 5v will not work with an arduino mkr wifi 1010, isnt it?

yes. after searching to hole day 
3.3v and 5 
Nope.
Must be one or the other.
Expand "Tech Specs" on this page.
Look for I/O voltage.
