RTC and Motor Control

I want to create a device that uses a real time clock for scheduling and a servo motor to physically turn a dial through a series of positions throughout the day/night cycle. It seems that the Servo can be controlled directly from the arduino board, without any shields, using the Servo library but the real time clock does require a shield so my question is ....

Can I just add the RTC shield with stackable headers and then use two free header pins from the stackable headers to control the servo?

Yes, you can. You can also stack 2 or more shields provided they use different I/O pins.
