Rubik's Cube solver


I want to make a rubik's cube solver as a school project. I mostly know how to code the 6 stepper motors i need but i got no idea how to code the 2 cameras and how to tell them witch side is witch and witch position is right. Do you guys have any idea? I didn't find anything usefull by myself.

For those who want to know what i planed to use:

  • Arduino Mega
  • 6x Nema 17 Stepper Motor 1.8° | 0.8 A
  • Stepper Driver A4988 2A
  • PSU 24V | 15A
  • 2x Cameras (idk witch one to use because idk how to code them properly)
  • Frame for the motors and the Rubik's Cube (3D printed by myself)
  • Rubik's Cube couplings (also 3D printet by myself)

I think that sould be all.

“camera” and “AVR-based Arduino” are not words often found in the same project or even the same sentence.

Maybe a couple of CMUCam Pixy, or arrays of colour sensors

(I’m not sure how this is a network issue)
