i tried to use 2200 uF capacitor in parallel with the 5 volt source but i failed. ![]()
Your relay and supply are both DC?
Then it needs 6 volts to pick.
If you have a switching power supply you would be able to raise 5V to 6V.
A 6volt relay should kick in with >=4.5volt, but slower.
That might or might not be a problem for the load it has to switch.
You might have to use a mosfet for the coil. A transistor drops another 0.5volt.
