Run DC motor with arduino mini

HI, i need to run a DC motor with Arduino mini 3.3V. I'm new to this so i would appreciate if anyone can provide me with some tutorials.

These are the things i have:

  1. Arduino mini 3.3V
  2. 2 AA batteries
  3. TB6612FNG Breakout
  4. FTDI Basic
  5. Mini B cable

The TB6612FNG breakout motor driver is produced by SparkFun, so I'm wondering how the OP could possibly have missed the tutorial linked prominently on the TB6612FNG product page.

The title of the tutorial is "Controlling 2 motors with the TB6612FNG + Arduino". Perhaps the OP was confused by the "2" in the title?
