Running a stepper motor & hardware Serial simultaneously

I've been told by ChatGPT that the I2C won't disrupt the stepper control frequency, as it's much faster than the serial port. Does this sound correct?

No ( don't trust ChatGPT ), Serial is interruptdriven and the print statement only writes the bytes into the serial buffer. As long as this buffer doesn't overflow ( i think 64 bytes an AVR ..? ) the print statement doesn't block and is really fast.
If you send so much debug printings that the buffer overflows, it will get blocking.

but I've read that the MobaTools library uses interrupts and so your servos will run smoothly while your code is doing other things.
