How is power connected? Right to the VCC/AVCC pins?
I run a 8 MHz promini in a remote control from a 1000mAH Lipo battery like that, connected to the VCC pin, goes for a month or more between rechargings.
Battery is up to 4.2V charged, and supposedly down to 3V when low - never measured it.
