Hello,
I know there is plenty of subjects about this but I can't find exactly what I need. I'm quite new to the arduino world and I have a project that I want to run on a lipo battery.
What I would like to do is an independent system where there is no need to unplug the lipo to recharge it. The ideal for me would be to find a chip that can charge my battery and load the arduino at the same time (is it called pass-trough, load sharing or something else ? I came across several names...)
What I already found is the following :
TP4056 based boards, like this one
It seems to do the job but I'm not sure about the pass-trough charging, will it do it ? And it also don't provide a stable 5v output voltage so I might have to add a DC/DC booster.
"power bank boards" like this one
This should work and there also are other ones, with one or two USB outputs (1A and/or 2A), a screen or LEDs monitoring the battery percentage,... so this could be the move but I don't feel the quality is there...
I also saw that there are better quality boards, for example form Texas Instruments, that are used in high quality power banks, but I don't know where to find them...
I hope I am clear and someone know the dream solution !
