Running two power driver shields

I have done lots of reading but haven’t found a definitive answer. I want to run two Sparkfun power driver shields using a Liquidware doublewide extender shield. I know many times if shields use the same pins there can be problems. My noob question is, can I drive both shields using the same pins? I want the same transistors on both shields to trigger at the same time.

Sure, if you want 1 pin to make 2 FETs do the same thing at the same time . Most people want to make each individual FET do its own thing, hence the problem of 2 shields sharing the same pins. But if that is what you are going for, it should work.

Thanks! I assumed that it would work since I want both boards to do the same thing but all I could find was info about people wanting to run different boards off the same pins and having problems.
