I’m having trouble getting my
Two stepper motors to run at the rpm and in sync as I was hoping. They are driven by two seperate stepper motor drivers but I can’t seem to get it to work that I can get the motors up to 1000rpm and sty on until turned off. Ideally even to start slower rpm and work up to max rpm have tried pre done Arduino codes which did get the steppers to move. Any help much appreciated
Can you please post a copy of your circuit, a picture of a hand drawn circuit in jpg, png?
Hand drawn and photographed is perfectly acceptable.
Please include ALL hardware, power supplies, component names and pin labels.
Generally, steppers aren’t specified in RPM*, but as steps per second.
The result will depend on voltage, current and load/torque.
If these are for traction or ‘pulling,, you’re likely better off with geared dDC motors,
they can be rated, but isn’t a direct spec… they don’t rotate smoothly like a dc motor.- 1000RPM is unlikely without a specific motor and power control - and acceleration/torque calculations. Look out for heat and missed steps.
