SainSmart 1.8 LCD Help

Hey guys so this works great! Although I am having some troubles with finding out how to display data.
If I try: tft.drawString(200,200,LED,WHITE);. It says invalid conversion "INT" to "CHAR". Can some one help I wanna display a sensor value but as well still be able to Choose color, X,Y Placement, and Rotation. Thanks

its strange, try using an uint8_t inplace of the char to see if still the error is there are you sure the INT or CHAR you are referring to isnt a pointer etc?

Is LED an integer or a string? That function is asking for a string(char*) not an integer.

Use sprintf() to make the value of LED into a string. Or you can make your own function that does it for you.

Its not strange at all. If you looked at the class provided, the function is clearly asking for a char* and not a uint8_t.

I didnt look at it as I wanted just the excerpt of the code where the problems are and not the whole code,
the line at which the error is should be pointed out.
