SainSmart 3.2" TFT LCD Display WITHOUT adapter shield?

So, I got a SainSmart 3.2" TFT LCD Display. I didn’t get the adapter shield though, and it has about 40 pins. I tried manually wiring it up myself and checking the UTFT docs, but I can’t get it working :fearful: I’ve been searching for hours and haven’t found anything. I’ve seen videos of it working without the adapter, but I don’t know the wiring. Can anyone help me out?

Easy:

Arduino MEGA = voltage dividers

Arduino Due = direct wiring

Okay, but is there a schematic or diagram or something I can see though? It's 40 pins...

I’ve been looking into the same thing for the 4.3" Screen from Sainsmart… so difficult to find any information on these LCDs and TFT Shields

I found this and I believe it is what you are looking for.

Thanks, but this is the library, not the wiring. I have the library, I just need to know how to wire it.

Sainsmart have a diagram of the shield on the site.

You can use this its not only the big connector, you also have to have another port for the touch and pass through the supply voltages.

Sainsmart implement voltage divide by a resistor chain on all the necessary info is on the above diagram…
