Sainsmart 3.2 Touch screen compilation error

I have the Sainsmart touchscreen 3.2 display.
During compilation I got the following error:

See attachement:

I’m sure the file exists in the Arduino hardware folder.

Who has an idea whats wrong?

Wim

I installed the HenningKarlsen libs and the file hardware/avr/HW_AVR_defines.h is really there.

Still I got this error.

Who can help me out?

Wim

I don’t know if this helps but I had a similar problem. I had to spell out the path like this:

#include </Users/Kurt/Documents/Arduino/libraries/UTFT_7/DUE/touch/UTouch/UTouch.h>

It could not find the file even though I imported the lib.

NO! That is absolutely not the way to fix this. Install the libraries in the correct location, then restart the IDE.
The Henning Karlsen libraries which are the ‘genuine’ libraries do not have the convoluted path that you have mentioned. UTFT_7/DUE/touch is not the correct path as prescribed by Henning. The UTOUCH library should be placed directly in the arduino/libraries folder. When that is done, #include <UTouch.h> WILL work.
