SainSmart Nano V3 from early 2014 still usable?

Hi. I'm new to Arduino, complete rookie, although with a lot of SW development (and a bit of electronics) experience.

I got hold of an SainSmart Nano V3 starter / development kit from early 2014, for free. It comes with a bunch of sensors and other stuff, including a MPU6050 Sensor.

My question: is this board still usable, and compatible with the current version of the IDE?

Yes.

The only thing you may need to do is select "atmega328 old bootloader" in the board menu.
