Hi,
I am totally new to this so i need all help i can get. I have a Saitek Pro Flight Yoke System with a burnt main board and need some kind of replacement. I stumbled over this and found out that Arduino Mega would do the thing. I have no knowledge of programming so i wonder if i would make it work with the replacement. I know all the signals on the yoke and throttle but nothing of the card or how to program the axis and buttons of the yoke and throttle.
Is it possible? In that case, how?
Regards
Mattias Lind
Do You have any handy friend that can get You started in coding? How much do You know about the communication out from the unit to the receiver? Your project is surely doable.
I dont really know anyone that know coding. Was hoping it wouldnt be that hard programming the board. Maybe i have to consider another brand then that is a bit easier to install.
Are You from Sweden? If so, go and buy the book about Arduino at Kjell & Co. Eventually You later go for the experiment set and get started.
You might get lucky at http://simhq.com/forum, the Flight Sim Controllers or Flight Sim Pit Builders subforums in particular.
The most popular options are Teensy boards. That or Arduino Leonardos, but there's software already made for the Teensy (ie, this thread)
