sampling frequency ADC - Arduino DUE

can anyone please tell me what is the sampling frequency of Arduino DUE ?

for example, Arduino UNO has sampling frequency [16MHz/(prescalar*no.of clock cycles per instruction)]
I referred to the datasheet and have no idea how many clock cycles per instruction it will take in DUE...


1 MSPS. 20 cycles per conversion at 20 MHz max.

To get maximum sampling rate you'll probably have to set up a timer and DMA channel to
automatically dump values into a memory buffer. however analogRead() only takes a
couple of us or so (well at the last time i checked). For audio sampling rates like 48kSPS
or 96kSPS an interrupt-driven conversion seems to work OK.
