Samsung Galaxy Note Pro Tablet vs iPad air vs Microsoft surface RT

I plan to purchase one of the 3 below and was hoping to get some advice on which one others would get.
I plan to be using this with the Arduino as an interface with WIFI and/or USB.
I still plan to use a desktop PC to do coding.
I see there are some apps on the iPad as serial monitor, the other two I am not familiar with.
Would you please supply a comment or two.
Go with XXX recommendations will suffice.
Samsung Galaxy Note Pro Tablet, OR iPad air, OR Microsoft surface RT
Thank You.

Is that your only requirement?

I see there are some apps for iPad operating Arduino O/Ps and reading I/Ps and analogs, this would be of interest.
Later controlling the Arduino over the internet may also be nice.
I hear the Android operating system is quite flexible which may be an attraction, no experience with it though.
The Surface RT (windows 8 ) is also attractive as my background is in the PC area.
And normal consumer stuff like: internet cruising, Email, PDF(data sheets...) repository etc.

Edit: I believe I would be able to move VB programs written on the Desktop PC to the Surface RT is possible so that might be a factor. I also have a Saleae 16, so if it works with RT / Windows 8, this is also a factor.
