San Diego area?

I hear a fair amount of activity going on up in the San Fransisco area, but hardly anything about San Diego(or even Los Angeles).

Does anyone know of any workshops or fairs in the San Diego area? I know they are building a 'techshop' here someday(w0oT!) - but that is not the same thing. =/

totally! with luck the SD techshop will have some arduino classes we can use to find others interested too.

'til then, what are you guys working on? i'm currently building a large LED board similar to what the SparkFun guys worked on a few years ago

Hey all,

My name is Douglas Welcome and I am a musician in the San Diego Area. I certainly am pretty new at this stuff, but I am really interested and would love to get connected with folks in the area who are involved with this stuff. I would be willing to pull some admin. work to get something together if you all were willing to get involved.

In the meantime, if you guys want to get together on a one-one basis, I would be really interested in learning about the projects you guys are working on. I am interested in incorporating light into some of my music productions and really want to explore this option. Hit me up and we can figure something out.
