Sanyo NCR18650GA: protected or unprotected?

Hello everybody,

I bought two sanyo NCR18650GA and they look like the tin the pic image

I'd like to know if these cells are protected or unprotected, so I'll buy all a bms 2s circuit, is there a way to know it for sure?

Ask where you bought them, there is NO WAY to know from pictures, or model number due to the number of fake batteries!

Thanks for your tip, no, they are not protected, I must use a bms module
