Hi guys, I want to do something with Arduino for science fair. Theme is "Science and Art" and I don't know what to do. Can you give me some suggestions? Thanks.
From what I've seen, it's quite popular to make art interact with the audience.
So perhaps some kind of sensor (passive infra red, ultrasound....) to detect presence or movement of an observer and then have the art "do" something based on that? Maybe a sculpture starts moving (servo motors on arms say), or speaking (servo motor on jaw and fire up a sound file). Or lights come on or go off.
Or observer presses a switch to starts an animation or a different switch for a different animation.....
Make an Arduino Paint. Split an analog input into ranges for colors... use pwm to drive a turntable motor or a drv8825 to drive a stepper on a turntable. use another channel for color s and let it fly by opening and closing solenoids to music...I am building something along these lines but I never have time to work on it..
