I have used my scoreboard this summer. It has work in general very well. The only fault I have is occasionally all the numbers go back to zero. I have checked it out and cannot find anything obverse. But what I did find is my transformer is plugged into a double 240v socket and if I plug something into the other socket and turn it on and off the numbers do strange things and some times go to zero. What should I do to stop this other than not use the spare socket.
Mains power conditioning perhaps? Cheap power supplies don't do much filtering, quality ones do.

Show us the code and the schematic please, although extra filtering is in fact more then likely to be the solution.
