Sct 010 030

Haloo. I am newbie in this forum.
I have project with sct 010 030 sensor and I have signal conditioning is voltage divider. The sensor is 0-1 vac and arduino can receive max 5 vdc. Can anyone explain the SC used for? Thanks.. It is for my thesis presentasi next week..

Welcome.

Being a newbie does not excuse you from thinking ... how do you expect anyone to help you based on such little information. At the very least tell us what an Sct 010 030 is and post a link to its datasheet.

Also post your wiring diagram and your program.

It is for my thesis presentasi next week..

If you are expecting people to do your college work for you you can expect a warm (and generally unhelpful) reception.

Given the little information that you have given it is difficult to provide meaningful help.

Going strictly from experience, this may be a non-invasive current monitor, Basically an inductor which clamps around a wire or cable which is carrying electric current.

I know of none that interface directly to the Arduino.

You would need an interface circuit.

As to what they are used for, the uses are many. Energy usage monitoring is the major one.

Ask the person you bought the thesis from :astonished:

Would you mind checking that link to openenergy.org.
It is unreachable from my computers.

That is not at all helpful.

I can't ping it either. He may have meant this though.
