all the examples I've seen use two bytes, but a delimiter. and when
I decode this data certainly would be something of 20000, the arduino, it takes forever.

So what do you want the text representation of a 255 byte to be?

You can store binary data on an SD card, using file.write(). The method takes a byte. A char is the same size as a byte, but that is the ONLY similarity.
