I just got the SEEED motor shield to use with my arduino, and I'm just wondering if I have to give the shield an external power supply. If I do, what can it be and how do I connect it? I tried searching it up, but I couldn't find anything (I also might have missed a link). Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
What version do you have I am pretty sure they all run from 6-15 volts so a 9v will do or I use my NiCad 7.2v
http://www.seeedstudio.com/depot/motor-shield-p-913.html sry forgot to put where I got the information from and if you have the v1.2 motor shield its not on that page but has the same specs as the 1.0 version hope this helps
Thanks for responding! I'm using the shield from the link you posted, so do I just connect a 9V battery to the power supply pins?
Ok I tried the 9V battery, and it still won't work. Maybe it's the code. I got it directly from this link:
I copied it directly, and maybe my connections aren't corresponding with the code. I don't know what's happening now.
