I can get my UNO to download and ID a port just fine. Same with the NANO but I cannot get a port to show up with the Seeed Studio XIAO SAMD21. The board is visible but, the error message at the bottom of the page indicates that the board is not connected. I used the USB cable that came with the board and unfortunately that is the only one of this type I have. Your thoughts?
UPDATE: I bought a new XIAOPR2040. It came with a new USB-C cable. I installed the RP2040 into my Arduino boards manager and I can select it just fine however, it shows up in DIVICE Mgr. as "Unknown USB device, (Device Descriptor request failed) and when I look for the SAMD21, it doesn't show up at all. When I plug it in, the SAMD21 gives me two rapid blinks of the onboard LEDs, followed by one long pause. This sequence continues to loop. The RP2040 simply blinks the onboard LEDs four times and then nothing. And, that only happens when the cable is turned upside down in the USB-C port. There is still no port available in the Arduino. Driving me crazy.
