seeing as it's nearly christmas...

I am new to microprocessors but would love to continue learning about them in my spare time, is there a decent book out there for this? not too hard nor technical say for beginners? a couple of nice experiments and a good intro to the syntax and how to think about programming. If not you guys should write one!

Massimo just came out with a good book about the Arduino, http://oreilly.com/catalog/9780596155513/

I also made an attempt at writing a book about some of my first Arduino projects
