With <1$ a piece, I would suggest running each panel with one, and those in parallel.
I guess I could throw a 1k pot on the current set pin on each panel, and individually dim each one...although the question is academic at this point, as they're not carried by any stores in my area. Poo.
Edit: Mouser doesn't carry them either...
