Segmentation fault while compiling likely when linking

I am getting the following error: lto1.exe: internal compiler error: Segmentation fault. It appears to be related to the SoftwareSerial module.
I am running of Windows 10 with IDE version ;
Version: 2.0.0-rc9
Date: 2022-07-20T13:48:17.756Z
CLI Version: 0.25.0 [4fd95834]
