Selected Bootloader version does not match the one on Bluefruit device.

nRF52832 Feather device
The boot loader I have access to is as follows: S132 6.1.1 r0

I followed the guide but no luck so far.

Please advise. I am sure I am not the only one with this issue.

Using Window 7 32 bit system

I cannot get the device to program. I am sure it is a user issue. I need some guidance please.

Error warning txt below.

Timed out waiting for acknowledgement from device.

Failed to upgrade target. Error is: No data received on serial port. Not able to proceed.

nordicsemi.exceptions.NordicSemiException: No data received on serial port. Not able to proceed.

Possible causes:

  • Selected Bootloader version does not match the one on Bluefruit device.
    Please upgrade the Bootloader or select correct version in Tools->Bootloader.
  • Baud rate must be 115200, Flow control must be off.
  • Target is not in DFU mode. Ground DFU pin and RESET and release both to enter DFU mode.

I have not asked Adafruit. I went here first. I was hoping that someone could point me in the right direction.

As its an Adafruit Q. then I think it would be reasonable to suggest ask them first.

Did you burn boot loader in your feather device?

I met the same error log and I burned the new boot loader and it solved.
