thank you.

Yes.

Andrew

Yep. just search for Arduino segway on google and you'll find several projects. Most will be self balancing robots but its easy to scale those up to a full sized scooter. As long as you have the money and resources to do it.

now the big and most important question...how much do u think will cost to build one?

Depends on what you can pull together.

This little video should answer allot of your questions.

But it could cost you about $800 or more. Batteries and the motors are the main things.

andrew, thanks for the link.

I think it's a blog-tool-fail, but the code is corrupt as posted. I can't even figure out the intended code, due to the mangling. I expect it broke because there were some && in the code itself.

for (i = 0; i < j =" j" steeringzero =" analogRead(steerPin);" xzero =" j/100;" oldtime ="
micros();" time =" micros();">= (oldtime+5000)){

Others have left comments for the author to highlight the problem, but I found no public response to the problem. Too bad they have also removed their demo videos.

ok..so i think first is best to start with a self balancing robot..to learn more about self balancing...and after maybe can start to build one full scale..

so..what i need to start?

this is what can i buy here
1 Arduino Duemilanove
2 MMA7260QT 3-Axis Accelerometer
3 LISY300AL Single-Axis Gyro with ±300°/s Range
4 do i need a Motor KIT Shield or simple driver motor?

what else do i need (without motors and wheels)?
