Send UDP with ESP8266 and Arduino UNO

Despite trying everything that comes up to my mind, I wasn’t able to send data via UPD from the Arduino to my laptop.

I’ve managed to connect the Arduino with the ESP8266 to the WIFI network at which also my laptop is connected but I wasn’t able to send the data via UDP. Instead of the “NETWORK_NAME” and “WIFI_PASS” I entered the correct information in my code. Here these info is naturally no shown. :slight_smile:
I am monitoring the data transfer with Wireshark. Windows is my operating system if that is somewhat relevant.

would your Windows Firewall let an UDP packet in on port 8080?

you should print the replays from the esp8266

or why not use the WiFiEsp library?
