Sending ADLX335 data via 434mhz rf module for gesture controlled robot

I'm trying to make a wireless gesture controlled robot with an adlx accelorometer as an input and an rf module for making it wireless..i understand that the adlx gives only analog values so can i use the map function to convert the values from 0-255 and use pulse width modulation..and sent the data to an another arduino with receiver and use that data to control the bot plz help....
