Sending Arduino Nano Signals over a 1 meter Cable

Dear Team,

I will be using Arduino nano for turning on and off a couple of BJTs that are used for driving a relay.
The board which contains the Arduino Nano will be sitting outside an oven and the Board containing BJT's will be sitting inside an oven.

May I know is there any problem in sending signals over a 1 meter cable.

During high state Arduino nano GPIO will be 5V(Please correct me if I am wrong).

I would have thought a 1 meter cable would be fine.

Do you have a multimeter? Do you have the relay? Do you currently have 1 meter of cable?
If you answer yes toeither of hte first 2, and yes to the last, you could of tested this already.
