Sending data to web from arduino mega via node mcu v3

This is how I send data from mega to web, I will use Software Serial for serial communication between node and mega. The thing here is do I need to use voltage divider from MEGA TX to NODE to regulate the voltage, or do you have any idea/suggestions on how to send data from mega to web. The thing here is I only have node mcu available, I really need suggestion if there is better and easier. This is my first time to use esp modules

MEGA NODE

RX ------>TX TX ------>RX

You could try SPI connection.

Edit its arduino mega , sorry I was so high right now.

Juraj: You could try SPI connection.

Im afraid that all of my spi connections in mega was populated by the tft lcd shield

on Mega do not use SoftwareSerial. use Serial3, if you want use serial

SPI master can have more SPI slaves.

you can connect esp8266 without level shifting for experimenting. but for long term use, use level shifters

do not forget to connect ground

Where should I connect the Serial3 on pins 15 (RX) and 14 (TX) in mega in node?

MEGA NODE

RX--------->TX TX--------->RX

still same? sorry for the inconvenient

It is just a recommendation. You must now what you want. Do not forget to connect ground.
