Sending Signal from Arduino to Computer or TV to Play Video

Hey guys,
I need to display a video on a tv when I push a button or something. Is there a shield or a way to send a signal to or receive a signal from a DVD player to play a video?

Ok, thanks, I think I will still have the button wired to the Arduino because I need the video to sync with some other components but I will try this thanks!
