Sensitive on/off motion sensor?

Hello, I’m making a battery transmitter, and i need a switch/passive component without power consumption to activate the ic, by movement(like seismic activity by being carried).

Anyone know of such a component?

lots of sensors could be used. there is a spring in a tube. when the spring is disturbed it will touch the tube and send the signal. you have to use debounce in hardware or respond to a fast pulse. the switch resets with no motion.

I think orientation is also important. under compression, the spring may not touch the tube. a sideways tap might send a very strong signal.
