Good day , I 'M TRYING TO DO IN READING DISTANCE cm with Sharp sensor GP2Y0A710k go and I have done several surveys and found nothing related to this sensor arduino , would like a help, I used the code Sharp sensorCM library but it does not funcinou is just the constant- value of 34 mean distance and time token ( ms ) ; 4012.e not going to the bottom line as new reading .

The library or the sensor?

Just wire up the sensor and read and print the analogue value you get. If this is constant then your sensor is broken or you have wired it up wrong.

You have to tell us how you wired it up.
