Sensor Sheld V5.0 Problem

Hey, I've got an arduino sensor shield v5.0 but every time I try to connect something to it (like a servo) it isn't working. I think it is because the V+5 pins don't give enough power because I can still hear somethng working inside the servo. I checked if the problem is in the connection, programming or the arduino board itself but it seems the problem is the sensor shield.
Can some one please explain why is this happening and what do I need to do?

Thanks

Hey I found that there is a jumper labled SEL on the sensor shield. Is that what's not giving enough power to the shield? I don't think so but I'm not a professional in that stuff so if you could explain that would be appreciated.

Thanks again

Add external power to servos..
