Sensor shield v5.0 for uno R3

Hello,
i was wondering if anyone could explain something about the sensor shield for uno.
It may seem dumb but i am copletely new to this so bare with me
Lets say i want to make a system with 6 or 7 sensors used (water temp. PH, EC, humidity, RTC..)
The sensor shield has the exact same ammount of analog inputs as the UNOR3 itself.
So is the sensor shield in this case completely useless or am i understanding it completely wrong?

Yes, in your case it would be useless.

Thanks for the info..any suggestions what to do?

Don't buy the sensor board

mega it is then..

If you need more than 6 analog inputs, then the Mega would be a good choice.

It depends. Do all your sensors require analog pins? Or can some be used on a digital pin? Are any using I2c, SPI, etc?
