I need help developing a sensor that with activate a small reversible DC motor which will be connected to a worm gear. 1st hand wave over the sensor activates motor in one direction then stops after a set period of time. 2nd hand wave activates the motor in the reverse direction for a set period of time. Any help regarding what I should buy to make this happen or anyone that could build this I will pay you for labor and materials. Thanks!
You need to decide what sensor there are plenty that will do what you want but you fail to mention a few important things like at what distance the sensor should respond? How quickly should the sensor respond? Even someone else can't choose a sensor for you less all of the details? What voltage should the sensor be and should the sensor output go high or low when active (hand detected)? It all in the details.
