Sensor to measure biting

Hey people,
We are making a glove to help disabled children who bite them self. We want to sense how often they bite and where on their hand they bite but are having difficulties with how to sense this. We are thinking of using pressure plates or a piezo buzzer but it needs to need to be both flexible and durable. And we only want to trigger it by biting and not by other pressure on the hand.
Someone has any idea how to sense this?

Thank you!

Niels

Flex sensors come into my mind but I doubt if they are durable as biting can be really hard.
(Recall Charly on youtube)

Could this be useful

or maybe this one is better

Could it be easier to measure muscle tension of the jaw??

PSR (pressure sensitive resistor) may work.

Thank you very much! I think the first flex sensor is durable enough but the second one might work. Unfortunately we cannot measure the tension of the jaw because we are developing a glove already :frowning:
