Sensors not working good when esp8266 connected to external power supply

My ultrasonic sensor doesn't provide accurate results when I connect esp8266 to external power supply but works fine when I touch the ground pin or +3v pins with my bare fingers... Any solutions

Hello, what is the specification of your external power supply? Does the sensor work alright when you power up your ESP8266 with laptop (without touching any pin)?

External power supply is a 5v 1A .. And when I powered with laptop or any well branded usb charger everything works fine..no need to touch the pins then

"It works better when I touch it" is often in indication that there is a spurious oscillation in the circuit. Do you have Vcc bypass capacitors in place?

I have placed two parallel capacitors of 47 micro farad between VCC and GND of power supply as it reduces some noise from Power supply

Is there also a 100 nF ceramic capacitor?
Can you show a picture of your setup?

Two little ceramic capacitors near to transformer values are (222 "1kv") and 103

That is a really tiny transformer... is it 50Hz and directly connected to mains?
Looking at it a bit further it seems HF transformer.
Can you make picture from the under side of the power supply?
And does it also feed the relais module on the right?
Why is the diode not where it is supposed to be?

Ok so 2.2 nF and 10nF.
Is 2.2 nF connected to mains?
Where did you find those tiny wires?
Where is the esp?
And where is the sensor?

Changed capacitor to 25v 220micro frd but still needs a touch for perfect readings

Question remains... is the thing on the left connected to mains?
If so, I have only one advice. Put the thing in a plastic box. That will be my only advice until fixed.
