sensors

Hello.
I am working on water/liquid level sensor ie, DFrobot's SEN0204. There they have mentioned that
it has 4 modes of sensitivity adjustment using set button in the 'Gravity' interface.
can anyone suggest me regarding how to measure the sensitivity of this sensor.

Thank you.

can anyone suggest me regarding how to measure the sensitivity of this sensor.

Define "sensitivity".

Hello again.
Sensitivity is the probability of detection. But my doubt is, is it in terms of what kind of
liquid it could detect??? since it is a digital sensor i am bit confused about how to test the sensitivity.

To measure the probability of detection, offer the sample to the detector many times, and count the number of successful detections.

Probability of detection = (number of successful detections)/(number of trials).

It seems to be an analogue photo interrupter (IR LED and photo diode) with "dirty water" in between.
Analogue output signal also goes to a threshold detector chip (LM358?).
The digital output is the output of that threshold detector chip.
Dirty/clean threshold can be set with the pot.
What A/D value do you get when you read the analogue pin in clean water and/or out of the water.

Hello leo.

please go through the below link. i just know it gives 1 as output if liquid is present and vice versa.
So i thought its digital.

Sorry, I seem to have answered a question from another post here.
Please ignore the answer.
