SENT protocol - measure time in 6 microsecond range

Hi all,

I have to read a sensor which uses SENT protocol. It has one tick time as 6 micro second.
That means I have to measure time between two consecutive falling edges which is as low as 6 micro seconds.
Is it possible to handle it with UNO. It would be great if somebody can guide.

I looked into it recently. The SENT protocol seems interesting. Ultimately I purchased a different version of the same sensor with a different protocol.

Google didn’t find anything? It seems like SENT is pretty rare for Arduino people, so there may not be many libraries out there.

I’d start with interrupts. Maybe use the “capture mode” of the hardware timers. I’ve tried to use that before but didn’t get it working because I had another method using simple interrupts which worked well enough for my purposes.
