Serial Communication with Attinys

Hallo,

I hope there is an easy anwer for my question:

How to send commands with an Attiny84?

I bought one to run a gsm modul with it... Tested with the Arduino nano v3, no problem.. As the next step i build a "programming shield" with sockets for the nano and the tiny(also working fine).

The problem now is that there are no rx, tx pins like on the arduino.. i searched much in the internet and only found things which didnt work or i did wong... hope you can help me...

I'm a beginner so pls don't call me an idiot or smth

And sry for my english i know it's not the best...

The problem now is that there are no rx, tx pins like on the arduino

That's why SoftwareSerial was invented. Well, one of the reasons, anyway.

well, first thy for your fast anwer...

one last question can i use any pin as rx or tx?...

Any pin that supports PCINT should be usable for software serial.
From Fig 1-1 of the datasheet, that looks like all of them.

Thank you
