I've browsed around and saw several Arduino projects that were able to send SMS through a GSM modem.
Now, is it possible for the Arduino to send emails, from the serial port, through a wireless-modem? (The modem in question is the Bluetree 6600: Red Lion | Access. Connect. Visualize.)
If so, what other components are required, other than a TLL to RS232 adapter?
